Dexter has a wonderful balance of energy and affection. While he thrives on activity and would be happiest in an active home, he also cherishes his snuggle time. His perfect day concludes with him curled up close to his people, especially if he can burrow under the covers for some bedtime coziness.
Ideal Home
Dexter would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard or with an adopter dedicated to providing him with ample exercise through walks, runs, and playtime. He adores other playful dogs and truly enjoys having canine companions to romp and play with. Dexter also gets along well with people of all ages and has shown great behavior with older children. Given his excitable nature and ongoing training, a home with very young children might require a bit more supervision and consistent training.

Dexter is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He is heartworm negative and up-to-date on heartworm and flea prevention.
Training & Support
Dexter is learning to distinguish between appropriate toys and household "treasures." He's eager to please, highly intelligent, and handles grooming sessions with ease. With continued structure and basic training, he is well on his way to becoming an exceptional companion.

Dexter is located in Central Ohio and adopters should be prepared to pick him up. We do not ship our dogs.
