A little about them
Penny is a goofy, loving English Bulldog mix who enjoys snuggling, playing ball, and spending time with other dogs. She is loyal to her family and will thrive with a breed-savvy adopter who can provide structure, leadership, supervision, and ongoing training.
Ideal Home
Penny requires a single-family residence. A secure fenced yard is preferred, and large-breed experience is required. Bully-breed experience is preferred. Other balanced dogs and older children may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Penny is currently fostered with two other dogs.
Ongoing Health
Penny had one TPLO repair in spring 2025 and fully recovered. She tore her other CCL in fall 2025, and another TPLO will be performed with adoption interest. Her adoption fee includes core vaccinations, flea and tick treatment, deworming, and a microchip with lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Penny is crate-trained, house-trained, and has basic obedience training. She benefits from structure, appropriate leadership, and continued training. When playing with other dogs, she needs a person who can supervise and advocate for appropriate interactions because she may show bullying behavior. She previously developed territorial behaviors in the home and on walks without formal training and has since been evaluated in foster care.
