Meet Chance, a 4-year-old neutered and vaccinated Staffie mix with an old soul and a smile that could brighten the gloomiest day! He was rescued from a crowded Houston shelter after being abandoned, and now he's looking for a family to call his own. Chance is a gentle giant, a perfect blend of sweet, goofy, and loving. He's house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and is happy to nap in an open crate or anywhere comfortable. He enjoys daily strolls, playtime, and loves nothing more than cuddling up with his humans on the couch. Chance also adores car rides and is always ready for an adventure! He's a smart cookie with a playful, mischievous streak, and he's quick to learn routines. He'll even let out a little grunt to remind you if you're running late!

Ideal Home

Chance would thrive in a loving home with a relaxed, predictable routine. He enjoys the company of other large, playful dogs and older children who can keep up with his energetic style. Due to his strong prey drive, he would not be a good fit for a home with cats.

Training & Support

Chance has great house manners and is fully house trained. He can be a little stubborn when something catches his attention, but a simple mention of "cookie" will bring him right back in line! His love of treats makes him an excellent candidate for continued training.
