Taquito

Taquito is a precious soul who was found in a swamp in North Carolina, hanging out with a roadside construction crew. He's about 2 years old and weighs 50 pounds. This goofy, wiggly boy is full of life and kindness, with adorable droopy eyes and a tail that wags with pure joy! While he enjoys playtime, he also loves to relax by the fireplace.

Ideal Home

Taquito is most comfortable with another dog in the home to keep him company. He's also a fan of cats and children! Be prepared for a fun-loving companion who might occasionally "steal" your shoes!

Ongoing Health

Taquito is currently receiving treatment for heartworm, which is being covered by the rescue until he tests negative. All his vaccinations are up to date, and he is neutered.

Training & Support

This clever boy is already house-trained and crate-trained. He's a quick learner and eager to please.
