Meet Apollo! This distinguished gentleman is estimated to be around 8 years young and is a heartworm negative, up-to-date on his vaccinations. Apollo is a truly sweet and affectionate companion who enjoys lounging on his orthopedic dog bed and napping the day away. He's a low-key, calm dog who is retired from the hustle and bustle of puppyhood and is ready to embrace a relaxed lifestyle.

Ideal Home

Apollo is looking for a home where he can continue his quiet retirement. He's not a fan of spending extended time outdoors, preferring to go out only for necessary potty breaks.

Ongoing Health

Apollo is heartworm negative and current on his vaccines. He tolerated his bath and nail trim well at the vet, though he wasn't a fan of his fecal exam.

Training & Support

This smart senior is completely house-trained and has had no accidents. He's also crate-trained, and can happily be left uncrated in the house. Apollo walks well on a leash, doesn't jump on people, and is non-reactive to strangers entering the home. He shows no resource guarding with his toys, food, or treats. He knows "sit," "leave it," and "wait," and is working on other commands. He patiently sits and waits for his food. While he barks at birds, he's generally a quiet dog.
