Ollie is a bundle of joy and curiosity, a 5-6 month old Black Mouth Cur mix who weighs around 18 lbs and is expected to grow to about 40 lbs. He's a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, humans, and even roosters! Ollie is a playful and energetic pup who loves to run, chase, and be part of the action. He's also a big softie, showering his people with affection and kisses.
Ideal Home
Ollie is looking for an active family that enjoys outdoor activities and has a securely fenced backyard. He thrives in a home with a strong intention to rescue and a deep understanding of the unique needs of street animals. Previous experience with dog behavior and training is a plus, or a willingness to hire a trainer is essential. He needs a home with high tolerance and patience for puppies, as he is not yet house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Ollie is up-to-date on his vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. He has been dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm and 4DX. He is on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He has also received a health certificate.
Training & Support
Ollie is food-motivated and can be protective of his food, sometimes showing mild defensive behavior if challenged by other dogs. To help him learn boundaries, it is recommended to feed him separately and continue with basic training. He is not house-trained, and consistency, structure, and leadership will be key to his development into a well-balanced adult dog.

- Upon approval, an adoption contract will be signed, and an adoption fee will be collected to cover Ollie's vet care, vaccinations, microchip, and more.
Transporation
Ollie is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel. We offer door-to-door delivery via a partnered transport company. Scheduled trips occur 3-4 times a year with a minimum of 15-20 adoptions per trip. The transport fee is $400 USD. You will receive real-time updates throughout the journey, and the transport team will conduct a final home review upon arrival.
