Rocco Bullwinkle is a 2-year-old, 62lb pittie mix who is the definition of a happy-go-lucky goober! He's got the perfect blend of chunky sweetness and athletic muscle, making him an ideal adventure buddy and snuggle companion. Rocco is a social butterfly who adores people and is wonderfully dog-friendly, showing a great balance of playful energy and calm affection. He is especially fond of children, displaying incredible patience and affection towards them, even in boisterous situations. Rocco is crate trained, potty trained, and has excellent house manners, making him a joy to have around. He thrives on praise, treats, and looks forward to pleasing his people.

Ideal Home

A home with a backyard where Rocco can explore, play with his toys, and enjoy the sunshine would be his paradise. He would also do well with another dog who can match his playful yet chill energy. Rocco would do best in a home without cats.

Training & Support

Rocco is a smart and eager-to-please dog who already knows how to sit and responds well to leash corrections. While he can pull a bit initially out of excitement on walks, a gentle correction is all that's needed. His eagerness to learn means he'll pick up any new training quickly and enthusiastically.

Rocco is located in Texas and transport is available nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. We offer drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
