This sweet 2-year-old, 14 lb Chihuahua/Dachshund mix is ready to shower her new family with love. After being a wonderful mama, Callie is now ready for her turn to be spoiled! She's house trained, crate trained, and walks like a dream on a leash, making her a delightful companion for both quiet nights in and sunny walks. Callie adores people, gets along with other dogs, and possesses the gentlest, most affectionate personality. Rescued from South Texas, she's overcome challenges and is eager to begin her next chapter in a loving forever home.

Callie is currently heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment. This treatment is fully covered by the rescue, so there will be no financial burden for her adopter. Heartworm disease is treatable, and with continued care, she will have a bright and healthy future.

Callie is already house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Her loving nature and easygoing personality will make her a joy to have around.
