Meet Carlos! This handsome boy with a big head and an even bigger heart is a young, spunky dog who has been patiently waiting for his perfect family. Carlos is goofy and loves to play, but he's also a master of lounging on the couch with his favorite toy. He's amazing in his kennel and coexists well with other dogs, enjoying light play. Carlos has a higher energy level and will need plenty of exercise and stimulation, especially walks. He'd be thrilled if you'd play fetch or tug-of-war with him! While he gets excited and pulls on the leash initially, he walks great after a few minutes. Carlos is toy-obsessed and enjoys destuffing them, so he's a heavy chewer in the best way! He listens very well to corrections from both humans and other dogs and already knows "sit," "down," and "shake." If you're looking for an adventure buddy, Carlos is your guy – he also loves just looking out the window! Due to his extended stay in the shelter, Carlos has already shown the benefits of structure and routine in a home environment. He's a smart young boy ready to learn how to be a dog and strut through life by your side.
