Meet Pine Cove Penelope, a gentle pup with a curious heart and a sweet, soulful spirit. This adorable fellow will make you want to slow down and spend some quality time by his side, appreciating all of life's simpler gifts. Estimated to be around 3 months old and weighing about 25 pounds, Penelope is possibly a German Shepherd/Labrador mix, but as a rescue, her breed and exact age are our best guess. What we are certain of is that this handsome girl is ready for a home with a good supply of toys, steady treats, and lots of love. Penelope is a pup of few words and many kisses, and is gently inquisitive in nature. She will definitely return all the kisses you give her and more, but would just like to politely sniff you down first, please. We are so impressed with her long, lean legs and think she will grow to be a tall, cool drink of water, so be prepared to make lots of room right next to you on the couch. Her curious heart and those long legs are made for exploring; Penelope is eager to discover and learn new things at her own thoughtful pace. Her expressive ears are even more so than her soft, searching eyes, and she uses them to every advantage. We have had such fun just sitting next to Penelope and allowing her to relax and feel safe, then watching her play and investigate everything around her.
