Hey there, my name is Nellie! I'm about 2 years old and some kind of shepherd mix... probably. Honestly, nobody really knows. My foster family says my actual family tree is probably just Nemo + Dory because I forget things almost immediately after they happen.

For example: “Don't chase squirrels.” Okay understood.

We're working on personal growth. My hobbies include long walks, neighborhood patrol, dramatic flops onto the couch, watching rabbits commit crimes in the yard, elite-level napping, and movie nights with my foster people. I especially enjoy Paw Patrol (cinematic masterpiece) and Harry Potter. My foster parents yell “YER A WIZARD NELLEI” at me at least once a day. I still don't fully understand what that means, but it usually comes with snacks, so I support it. I'm sweet, goofy, affectionate, and just a tiny bit chaotic in the way that makes people laugh constantly. I've been learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and spoiled... and honestly? I could get used to this lifestyle. One day I'd really love a forever family of my own. Someone to take walks with me, share snacks during movies, tell me I'm pretty 45 times a day, and maybe provide a squirrel-free backyard for my mental health.
