Mai Tai, or Tai for short, is a spunky, adventurous, confident, and happy pup. Like the cocktail he is named after, he's a perfect mix of sweet, spirited, and a whole lot of fun. Tai loves exploring the great outdoors and enjoys helping in the garden, though he's still learning the difference between plants and weeds. Gardening, weeding, or woodpile rearranging – if something is happening, Tai wants to be part of it! He's equally content settling in beside a bonfire, soaking up the atmosphere and keeping an eye on all the action. A true social butterfly, Tai believes every person he meets is a potential best friend and greets the world with wiggles, a wagging tail, and enthusiastic requests for belly rubs. Despite a rough start, Tai has never lost his playful spirit or curious nature. He's ready to dive into life with a family of his own, whether that means helping in the yard, tagging along on adventures, or simply being included in everyday moments. Like a perfect Mai Tai, Tai brings a little sunshine wherever he goes, and life is just more fun when he's around!

Ongoing Health
Tai tested positive for parvo after coming into rescue but has since recovered and is thriving. He has a sensitive stomach and will need a consistent diet with gradual introductions to new foods. Single-ingredient treats are easiest on his tummy. He usually needs one nighttime potty break, though he occasionally sleeps through until morning.
Training & Support
Like most puppies, Tai's excitement sometimes gets the best of him. He is working on his manners and has already mastered "sit." He will benefit from continued guidance, patience, and plenty of positive reinforcement as he grows.
