Tom is a handsome, approximately 5-year-old mixed breed with a charming salt-and-pepper face and incredibly soft fur. He's the perfect age to be both a well-behaved companion and a playful goofball. Tom is a professional snuggler and a true cuddle bug who loves leaning into his people, carrying his favorite toys, and keeping the couch company. He deeply loves his people and will be a devoted companion. Tom recently had a wonderful day out where his personality truly shined. He interacted beautifully with children, rode well in the car, and charmed everyone he met. He was also a perfect gentleman at the vet, showing no interest in other dogs and remaining calm and polite. Tom was particularly gentle with a younger child, showing a remarkable awareness of her needs. He even had a funny moment mistaking his reflection for a new friend! Tom also did wonderfully at doggy daycare, described as the most loving, happy boy.
Ideal Home
Tom prefers calm or medium-energy canine companions and takes his time getting to know new dogs. He would also be happy as the only dog in the home. Cats are a firm no for Tom. He is potty-trained and has good manners, making him a great candidate for apartment living if leash walking continues to be practiced.
