Oreo

Oreo is a special young male Border Collie mix, medium in size with short, black and white fur. He was found neglected in an empty property and thankfully rescued thanks to a neighbor's report. Despite his rough start, Oreo has a happy and grateful demeanor, ready to embrace his new life. We've recently discovered that Oreo is deaf, but this doesn't diminish his wonderful spirit!

Ideal Home

Oreo would likely thrive in a home that can provide him with patience and understanding as he navigates his world without sound.

Ongoing Health

Oreo has undergone a full medical protocol, which includes vaccinations (Bordetella & Lepto), deworming, a microchip with lifetime registration, neuter surgery, bloodwork (CBC, chemistry panel, 4DX test), and flea/tick/heartworm prevention (NexGard Spectra). He is deaf, which is a special need to be aware of.

Training & Support

Oreo is not yet house-trained. Due to his deafness, he will benefit greatly from positive reinforcement training methods and a consistent routine. Learning hand signals and visual cues will be key to his success and integration into his new home.
