Penelope

Meet Penelope! This 5-year-old, 20 lb bundle of joy is a delightful mix of Miniature Pinscher and Beagle who is eager to find her forever family. Penelope is an incredibly friendly and loving girl who absolutely adores people, especially children! She has been a wonderful companion in her foster home and is ready to bring that same devotion to her new family. Penelope’s favorite pastime is a good game of fetch, and she'll happily chase a tennis ball for hours. After playtime, she loves nothing more than to snuggle up with her favorite humans.

Ideal Home

Penelope would thrive in a home where she can be the star of the show as the only dog. She enjoys meeting new people but can be a little uncomfortable with other dogs when on leash.

Ongoing Health

Penelope's adoption fee covers basic vetting, rabies vaccination (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, and monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. She will also have her spay/neuter surgery covered by our partner vet if she is under 6 months old, or adopters can be reimbursed up to our partner vet's cost if they choose to use their own vet.

Training & Support

Penelope will need a refresher on house-training. We strongly recommend enrolling her in obedience training to help her adjust to her new home, maintain socialization, and strengthen the bond between her and her new family.

Transportation

Penelope is currently in a foster home. Transportation to approved adopters may be available.
