Butterscotch Sweet As Pie

Butterscotch is a sweet, wrinkly, and cuddly 3-year-old dog with a personality as delightful as her name. Weighing around 55 lbs, this Beagle/Lab mix is a true people-pleaser who loves to be close to her humans. She's a big cuddler, often found following her foster like a shadow, and enjoys a good belly rub and booty scratch. While she enjoys outdoor time and can be playful in short bursts, she's generally calm and comforting, making her a wonderful companion. Butterscotch also does well with other dogs, but would prefer a cat-free home.

Ideal Home

Butterscotch would be happy in a house with a yard or an apartment, as she enjoys both indoor companionship and outdoor exploration. A home without cats is recommended.

Ongoing Health

Butterscotch is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip.

Training & Support

Butterscotch may need a little time to decompress and settle into a new home, as she did in her foster environment. Once comfortable, she becomes a devoted shadow.

Transporation

Butterscotch is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via USDA-certified transport. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A surcharge of $87 applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
