Meet Edna – Our Grumpy Little Ewok

Edna is a spicy little girl who is looking for her perfect match! She’s been with us for over a year, and while she’s become part of our world, she deserves a home to call her own. Edna can be a bit sassy and has boundaries that need to be respected. She's not a dog for a first-time owner, but with patience and understanding, she can be an incredibly loyal and sweet companion. She's made huge progress and is ready to find her human who is as stubborn and determined as she is!

Ideal Home

Edna needs a home that will give her space and let her warm up on her own terms. She is not a fan of being rushed and requires a human who understands behavioral dogs. She would do best as the only pet or with one chill dog who respects her space. She is indifferent to cats. Edna gets easily stressed by visitors or busy environments, so a homebody who doesn't entertain often would be ideal. Absolutely no children are allowed in the home.

Edna is a healthy dog.

Training & Support

Edna is crate trained and enjoys short walks around the block. She is food motivated and will slowly warm up to you if her pace is respected. She can be incredibly loyal and sweet to her chosen human, allowing pets and cuddles. However, she is not comfortable with all people and requires her boundaries to be respected.

Transporation

Edna is located in the Tampa Bay Area and must stay local. She does not travel well and will not let you pick her up.
