Elmo

Elmo is a sweet, 5-month-old Great Pyrenees who is as affectionate and playful as he is independent. He spent his first few months on a farm, so he's had plenty of exposure to other animals and would be a great fit for someone looking for a farm dog. However, he would also do wonderfully with a family! If you're looking for a fluffy new friend, Elmo is your guy.

Ideal Home

Elmo would thrive in a home that can offer him a good balance of affection and space to be independent.

Ongoing Health

Elmo is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and will be current on flea and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Elmo is about 98% potty trained but still has occasional accidents, which is understandable given his previous outdoor living. With continued consistency and positive reinforcement, he'll master this quickly!

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adoption interviews and meet-and-greets occur via video call.
• Our out-of-state adoption fee is $300 plus transport (varies by location).
• The fee includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, and a health exam by a veterinarian.
• RTB reserves the right to deny any application deemed unsuitable for the animal, and adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis.

Transporation

Elmo is currently fostered in Texas but is available for adoption and transport to a predetermined location agreed upon by Wags. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
