Gilbert

Gilbert is a gentle soul wrapped in a sturdy little pitbull body! He's a white-coated sweetheart with soft eyes that seem to ask, "Is it okay if I trust you?" Life hasn't always been kind to him. He came in as a stray, sticking close to his loyal pal Arnie, unsure of the world but hoping it might finally be safe.

Bashful by nature, Gilbert doesn't rush into anything. He takes his time, watching, learning, quietly building courage one small step at a time. But behind that timid start is an incredibly loving heart. Once he knows you, he leans in softly, offering the kind of sweetness that feels earned and deeply real.

Gilbert is looking for someone patient and kind, someone who will show him that life doesn't have to be scary.

Ongoing Health

Gilbert is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, flea and dewormer treatment, and has tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee also covers his spay/neuter surgery.

Training & Support

Gilbert is not yet house-trained. He'll need a patient adopter to help him build confidence and learn that the world can be a safe and loving place.
