Peter Pan is a 9-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, currently weighing around 3 pounds, with an estimated birthdate of March 2026. He's a charming and curious little guy, often found exploring his surroundings before returning to his siblings for playtime. Peter Pan has a gentle spirit and enjoys cozy naps as much as energetic play, particularly a game of tug-of-war. He was found abandoned with eight other puppies in Houston and is now in a foster home in Austin, Texas.
Ideal Home
Peter Pan would thrive in a home that can offer him a consistent structure, routine, and supervision as he grows. He is expected to do well with children, cats, and other dogs when introduced properly. However, due to his tiny size, any resident pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions must be supervised. Applicants should be prepared for the mystery of his breed mix and potential size once fully grown. Because he is so young, Peter Pan cannot be left alone for long periods. Homes where someone is present most of the time are ideal. If working outside the home for more than 4 hours, there must be another adult available to care for him during the day; a detailed puppy care plan must be provided in the application.
Ongoing Health
Peter Pan is a young puppy and will need ongoing vaccinations and regular veterinary care as recommended by his vet.
Training & Support
As a young puppy, Peter Pan is still learning potty training and crate training. His new family should be prepared to continue consistent training using positive reinforcement and patience. He needs frequent potty breaks and supervision to help him learn.
