Meet Little Debbie! She's a gentle five-year-old Toy Rat Terrier/Toy Fox Terrier mix with a coat of warm gold and white. Little Debbie is a small companion, weighing around 15 pounds, who has a big heart and a knack for becoming your devoted shadow. She is a sensitive soul who forms deep bonds with her people, offering comfort by simply being close, especially during quiet moments or after a long day.
Little Debbie's personality is a wonderful blend of calm and playful. A daily 30 to 45-minute walk is enough to keep her content and relaxed, leaving her plenty of time for snuggling, playing with her beloved "babies," or tackling enrichment puzzles. She also enjoys a good perch by the window, where she can watch the world go by like it's her favorite show! She's a smart cookie, already knowing "sit," "shake," and "give me a kiss," and she's eager to continue learning with positive reinforcement and gentle guidance.
Ideal Home
Little Debbie would thrive in a caring environment where someone is home often. A quieter household with adults or older children would help her feel most at ease. She would also benefit from a fenced yard or attentive leash use to help her feel secure and happy.
Ongoing Health
Little Debbie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and recently had a healthy vet check. She does have a luxating patella that may require mindful care, and she is currently a bit overweight, so a balanced diet and routine will help her feel her best.
Training & Support
While friendly with new people, children, and other dogs, Little Debbie's excitement can sometimes lead to enthusiastic barking or energetic leash behavior. Continued training to help her channel this excitement calmly would be beneficial. She is adaptable with routines and does well when left alone briefly, but she does need a refresher in potty training habits.
