Charm

Charm is a 2-year-old Beagle mix with a classic brown, black, and white coat. Weighing in at 30lbs, she's a medium-sized girl with floppy ears that show signs of past ear infections, though she's all clear now! Charm is eager to please and loves to be showered with affection, often described as a "velcro dog" because she wants to be near her people at all times. She's a resilient and sweet soul who thrives on attention in the form of pets, walks, and daily chats.

Ideal Home

Charm would be happiest in a calm yet active home with children over 8 years old who understand how to be around dogs. Because she loves to follow scents, it's crucial that doors and gates are always firmly shut to prevent her from wandering off. She prefers a quieter environment and can become nervous with excessive noise or activity.

Ongoing Health

Charm is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. Her ears had some bumpiness from previous infections, but they have been treated and she is now doing great. She has a microchip.

Training & Support

Charm is house-trained and is learning to use bells to signal when she needs to go outside, with some success. She knows "sit" and "off," though "off" can be a work in progress when food is involved. She is also learning to be a better walker, and her leash skills are improving. Charm would benefit from continued training, such as "leave it" and "drop it," to ensure her safety. Post-adoption training is a requirement for all adoptions.
