#MADloveElla — a Mighty Mini Mal
Ella is a "mighty mini" Malinois mix who will happily be your shadow. Endlessly curious, sweet, and just a little feisty, she packs a whole lot of heart into her small frame. Her exact age is a bit of a mystery, but she doesn't display over-the-top puppy energy. Ella is a truly wonderful dog who thrives on companionship and wants to be by your side as much as possible, making her an incredibly devoted partner. She is still adjusting to life outside the shelter and is currently quite mellow and timid. As her confidence grows, she may really enjoy activities like agility or other fun, interactive outlets. Ella does experience car sickness, which Dramamine has helped with. She even enjoys being carried in a sling bag and stays calm and content close to her person. Ella is gentle, non-reactive, and notably not mouthy at all, which is rare and impressive. Combined with her small, manageable size, she is likely to do very well with respectful children. Ella is a sensitive, loving soul who just needs a little patience and stability to truly shine. In the right home, she will be an incredible companion—loyal, affectionate, and always right by your side. All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and a six-month subscription.
Ideal Home
Ella would do best in a home that can minimize alone time, especially in the beginning, as she can sometimes panic when left alone. She is likely to do very well with respectful children. Cats are unknown.

Ella experiences car sickness, which Dramamine has helped with.
Training & Support
While Ella likes her crate and sleeps in it, she can sometimes panic when left alone and may attempt to move the crate or shred nearby items. With time, consistency, and confidence-building, this is expected to improve. Ella can be mildly reactive at times with other dogs, mainly barking at dogs passing by the house or on walks, but she is not aggressive. Introductions take time and patience.

Transporation
Ella is located in California. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We provide transport assistance up to 350 miles, and the applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
