Lucy June Scout is a barely over two-month-old bundle of joy who perfectly blends the spirit of an adventurous road trip buddy with a sweet, easygoing personality. She's curious without being reckless, affectionate without being demanding, and wonderfully confident when meeting new people and animals. Lucy approaches the world with bright eyes and the quiet confidence of a puppy who knows good things are coming her way.
Weighing around 5 pounds, Lucy appears to be a Labrador Retriever and Carolina Dog mix, though as with all rescue puppies, her breed and age are our best educated guesses. She's off to an exceptional start thanks to a foster home that's putting tremendous care into helping her grow into a confident, well-rounded adult. Lucy is living with other dogs and has been thoughtfully introduced to new people, animals, and everyday experiences. Her foster shares that she's wonderfully social, quick to make new friends, and genuinely enjoys meeting the world around her. She's the kind of puppy who is eager to participate, eager to learn, and seems to genuinely enjoy figuring things out. Her foster describes her as incredibly smart, a fast learner, an attentive listener, and a perfectly playful puppy who understands rhythm and routines surprisingly quickly.
One of Lucy's more impressive accomplishments already is her travel résumé. She's been on multiple RV trips and has taken to life on the road beautifully. She happily settles in for long stretches of driving, understands when it's time for a quick potty stop, and then climbs right back in to continue the adventure. Whether your future includes weekend camping trips or simply errands around town, Lucy is happy to be your copilot.

Training & Support
Like any young puppy, Lucy is still learning all of life's important lessons, but she's making wonderful progress. She's already using potty pads successfully and has begun understanding that grass is the perfect place to do her business when she's outside. She'll continue learning house manners, leash skills, and all the basics as she grows, and she's proving every day that she's happy to take your directions and is eager to learn alongside her people.
