Sweetie

Just like her name suggests, Sweetie is an absolute sweetheart who loves people and attention. She's not too high energy but gets excited for pets and playtime. Sweetie is a terrier mix, around 10 months old and weighs 22 pounds. She's kennel trained and appears to be house-trained, though some accidents may happen as she adjusts to a new environment. Sweetie has been in a foster home with other dogs and cats and has gotten along with everyone.

Ideal Home

Sweetie would love a home where she can get plenty of attention and play. She has gotten along well with other dogs and cats in her foster home.

Ongoing Health

Sweetie is heartworm negative. Her adoption donation covers spay/neuter, microchip, initial vaccines, intestinal parasite screening, deworming, heartworm test, and flea/heartworm prevention. As with most rescue puppies, we cannot guarantee breed or future size.

Training & Support

Sweetie is kennel trained and seems to be house-trained, but may have a few accidents as she settles into her new home.

• We require that all current dogs and cats in the home be spayed/neutered.
• Sweetie is available for a foster-to-adopt program, allowing for a week-long trial period.

Transportation

Sweetie is in a foster home in Ponchatoula, LA. As we are a foster-home based organization, all meet-and-greets require an approved adoption application.
