Pluto

Pluto is an 8-year-old gentleman who was rescued from a municipal shelter after living there for almost a year. He's a wonderful dog with plenty of pep and a deep love for his people and his favorite ball. Pluto enjoys his walks and would ideally have a fenced-in yard, though it's not a strict requirement. He's a social fellow who gets along with other dogs, though he's still learning some manners and would do best with a tolerant canine companion. While Pluto is generally good with children, he'd be happiest in a home with kids aged 10 and older due to his strength. He's shown interest in smaller critters, so a home without cats would be best. Pluto is learning basic commands and leash manners, and his house-training is progressing well. He would thrive in a home where someone is present for most of the day, making him a perfect companion for those who work from home or are retired. Pluto is not a fan of crates but can manage if necessary.

Ideal Home

A home with a fenced-in yard would be great, but not a requirement. Pluto would do best in a home with children 10 years or older, and without cats. A home where someone is present for most of the day would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Pluto will be neutered.

Training & Support

Pluto is learning basic commands and leash manners. He is also working on house-training, which is expected to improve after he is neutered. He will need a patient family to help him settle in and continue his learning journey.
