Prince Boy

Prince is a handsome boy, approximately 2 to 2.5 years old and weighing between 58 and 64 pounds. He was surrendered to a high-kill shelter due to no fault of his own. Thankfully, he was rescued and has blossomed into a real gem! He's up-to-date on all his shots, crate-trained, and potty-trained. Prince enjoys walks, car rides, and playing in his backyard. He has a medium energy level and knows commands such as sit, come, and heel.

Ideal Home

Prince would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can play and explore. He would likely not be a good apartment dog. He would enjoy a canine companion to play with, but it's not a requirement. He can be a part of a family with children, a couple, or a single person, as long as he is included in daily adventures. Applicants must be over 21 years old. Tie-outs and electric fences are not suitable for Prince.

Ongoing Health

Prince was heartworm positive but has completed treatment and is no longer positive, with no complications. He also had an eye issue (entropion) that has been surgically corrected and is now fixed.

Training & Support

Prince is treat and food motivated, and not food aggressive. He used to hump other dogs at the shelter, but since being neutered, this behavior has stopped, and he now gets along well and is playful with other dogs of all sizes.

Transporation

Prince is currently in a foster home in Ft. Worth, TX. Transport can be arranged after the adoption is finalized, with K9 Delivery LLC being the transport company. If you prefer to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee remains the same.
