Ferrari, a 3-year-old, 50-pound bundle of joy, is a friendly dog with medium energy. He enjoys leisurely naps, soaking up the sun, and keeping his humans company while they go about their day. He's been described as dog, cat, and kid-friendly, and he certainly seems to have a soft spot for children, often wagging his tail at the sight of a school bus – a sweet reminder of past friendships. Ferrari is generally quiet but perks up for walks and mealtime. He does experience some separation anxiety when left alone, but his foster family is actively working on this. He's a well-behaved boy who respects his toys and has never damaged anything in his foster home. Ferrari knows several commands like "sit," "lie down," and "come," and he's eager to learn more with a patient and willing family. While he's still perfecting his leash manners, he's making great progress. He absolutely adores car rides, hugs, and meeting new people, treating everyone like an old friend! Ferrari also enjoys long hikes and has even taken to wearing a backpack, which he loves. He can get overheated easily, so he'll need some protection from the sun when it's warmer than 80°F, along with plenty of water. His foster uses a bottle for him on shorter walks during warm weather. Ferrari is also comfortable in his crate, which can be a great option if his family plans activities without him. He's house-trained and crate-trained, though he may cry briefly when left alone in his crate – a calm reassurance usually helps. Ferrari would be a wonderful companion for a busy family or someone who spends most of their day at home.
