Duke is a charming 1-year-old, 55-pound bundle of joy who perfectly blends playfulness with affection. He loves to explore the outdoors, bask in the sun, and play with his toys, but he's just as happy snuggling up with his favorite people. Duke has an easy-going country charm that makes him a delight to be around, and he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He was born with hip issues that required surgery, but he's made a full recovery and now has a renewed zest for life, complete with a happy hop in his step and a shining playful spirit. He loves chasing and wrestling with his canine foster siblings. We believe Duke is a large-breed mix, possibly with Retriever and Shepherd in his lineage, boasting a beautiful golden coat. Whatever his mix, he's full of love, curiosity, and a sweet, loyal nature. Duke is eager to continue learning, growing, and sharing all his love with a forever family.

Duke would love a home where he can explore the outdoors, play with his toys, and cuddle with his people. He also enjoys the company of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Duke had surgery for hip issues. He has since fully recovered and shows no lingering effects.
