Keri

Keri is a sweet, well-mannered lady who originally came to us from Kuwait in 2019. She had a tough start to life but was rescued and eventually made her way to us. Though adopted in 2020, she lost her home through no fault of her own and is now looking for her forever person. Keri is a very lazy, but incredibly loving, companion who would be the perfect "ride or die" for the right person. She thrives on one-on-one attention and is happiest when she's your shadow.

Ideal Home

Keri would do best in a home with a moderately lazy owner who is looking for a devoted companion. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home, as she is not a fan of cats and can be indifferent to other dogs, especially smaller, yappy ones. Her ideal owner will be her "social hermit" – someone who loves her company and can ensure she gets the attention and care she needs.

Ongoing Health

Keri is currently overweight and needs a carefully managed diet and exercise plan. Part of her weight is due to a thyroid condition, but the rest is from overfeeding and under-exercising. She is currently about 25% above her ideal weight, which is in the mid-40 pound range.

Training & Support

Keri is exceedingly well-mannered and knows many commands. Her primary needs are a consistent feeding schedule and regular exercise to help her reach a healthy weight. She is generally quiet and not the center of attention, preferring a calm environment.
