Shemar

Shemar is a sweet 9-year-old, 5.5lb Yorkie looking for a quiet, adult-only home. He's a creature of comfort and enjoys cuddling with his people once he feels settled and secure. Shemar is independent and will let you know when he needs his space, but he's also very affectionate and will seek out attention when he's ready. He's house-trained and pee-pad trained, and enjoys supervised time in a secure, fenced yard or short, leashed walks.

Ideal Home

Shemar would thrive in an adult-only home. He can coexist with calm, small dogs who will respect his boundaries, or he would be happy as the sole canine companion. Children are not ideal, but older children who understand and respect his need for space might be okay for brief visits. He needs a home that can provide leadership, consistency, and structure, allowing him to approach new people and his environment at his own pace.

Shemar is neutered, vaccinated, HW negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Shemar is house and pee-pad trained. He needs a patient adopter who will allow him at least two weeks to settle into his new home without visitors. This adjustment period is crucial for him to build trust and feel secure.
