She was sadly abandoned on the side of the highway but was rescued and is now healthy, vaccinated, spayed, and eagerly awaiting a second chance at happiness. Honey is a smart, mid-energy, 3-year-old, 19kg Lab/Shepherd mix with a heart full of loyalty. She’s incredibly sweet with all people and is protective of her home, plus she absolutely adores car rides!
Ideal Home
Honey would thrive in a home where she can share her affection. She's looking for a family with children aged 10 and up, and while she's currently living peacefully with many other dogs, she would do best with non-dominant canine companions and cannot live with cats.

Honey is a smart girl who is food-motivated and eager to please. She's clean in the house and just needs a little bit of leash work to become a perfect walking companion. With a little guidance, she'll be mastering her walks in no time!

Transportation
Honey is currently located with a small local rescue near Bucerias, Mexico. We facilitate adoptions to the US and Canada. Approved adopters will be matched with flight companions for transport from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new furry friend at the airport. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight companion isn't available, arrangements can be made for your pup to fly into the US and be met at the Peace Arch Park at the border.
