Meet Dakota, a handsome 2-year-old Flat-Coated Retriever mix who weighs about 60 lbs and is eager to find his forever family! Dakota is a friendly and affectionate boy who absolutely adores people and is looking for a loyal companion to share his life with. He's already mastered housetraining, which is a fantastic start to his good-manners resume!

Ideal Home

Dakota would thrive in a home with a securely fenced backyard where he can safely explore. He would do best as the only pet in the household and would prefer a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Dakota is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative care while in our care.

Training & Support

Dakota is working on his leash manners and can get a bit overstimulated when he sees other dogs on walks. With some consistent leash training and patience, he'll surely become a polite walking companion. We strongly recommend enrolling Dakota in obedience training to help him adjust to his new home, ensure he continues to be well-socialized, and build a strong bond with his new family.
