Jupiter

Jupiter is a sweet and energetic girl who is ready for her forever home! When she first arrived at the rescue, she was facing some significant health challenges. She had lost most of her hair due to Demodex Mange, was heartworm positive, and had a severe eye infection from Entropion, a condition where the eyelids roll inward, causing the eyelashes to constantly irritate the eye.

Jupiter has been through a lot of treatment and care. She has been treated for mange, spayed, and has undergone multiple surgeries to correct her eyes. She is now heartworm negative! We're not sure if her hair will ever fully grow back, but she's beautiful no matter what. She will require ongoing medication for dry eye and has discovered allergies that will need continued treatment with allergy injections, a special RX diet, and regular vet visits for her skin.

We know Jupiter has a lot of medical needs, but she is so worth it! She does well with some dogs but would absolutely love to be the spoiled, only pet in her new home. She's also great with the 3-year-old in her foster home!

Ideal Home

Jupiter would love to be the only pet in the home to get all the attention. She has done great with a 3-year-old in her foster home.

Ongoing Health

Jupiter has ongoing medical needs including daily eye medication for dry eye, allergy injections, a special RX food, and regular vet visits for skin issues.

Training & Support

Jupiter is house-trained and knows basic commands. Her adopter should be prepared for her ongoing medical care and support her needs.
