Lotus 1932

Lotus is an adult male mixed breed dog with a black coat and medium size. He was one of 29 dogs rescued by Big Dog Ranch from a dire situation in North Alabama. When our team arrived, the dogs were scared and confused but incredibly sweet. It took nearly seven hours to safely bring them all to safety. Now, Lotus and his companions are receiving much-needed medical care, nutritious meals, and plenty of love and patience. He is learning to walk on a leash and slowly discovering that gentle pets and kind voices can be a wonderful thing. Lotus is ready to begin his next chapter in a loving forever home where he can share the joy he has been waiting so long to give.

Lotus would thrive in a home that can offer him patience and understanding as he continues to learn and grow.

Ongoing Health

Lotus is neutered and vaccinated. He is receiving ongoing medical care and is in good health.

Training & Support

Lotus is learning to walk on a leash for the first time and is slowly learning to trust humans. He will need continued patience and positive reinforcement as he builds confidence and learns about the world around him.
