Sally is a professional cuddler, a full-time love bug, and firmly believes that personal space is overrated. If your dream dog wants to be as close to you as physically possible, you've just found her. Sally's life didn't always look this bright. She was found living under a trailer with her puppies after being neglected by the person who was supposed to care for her. She wandered the neighborhood searching for food to keep herself and her babies alive while kind neighbors stepped in to help feed her. Eventually, those neighbors asked if they could take her, and thankfully, her former owner agreed. Now Sally is safe in a loving foster home, and those difficult days are finally behind her. Sally is pure, unconditional love wrapped up in a 30-pound package. She is wonderfully affectionate and can never get close enough to her people. If she could sleep curled up in the crook of your neck every night, she'd consider life perfect. And it's not just her favorite human Sally adores everyone she meets, especially kids. She also gets along well with other dogs, though she appreciates slow, proper introductions. Once she's comfortable, she's happy to make friends. That said, she'd be just as content as your one and only, because people are truly her favorite. Like the smart cattle dog she is, Sally learns quickly. She picked up potty training and leash walking with ease. Although we estimate Sally is only about a year old, she has an old soul. Her rough start in life seems to have given her a calm, appreciative outlook. Don't get us wrong she'll happily join you for hikes, road trips, neighborhood walks, or any adventure you have planned. But coming home afterward to curl up on the couch with her favorite people is just as exciting in her eyes. Sally has spent enough of her life wondering where her next meal or safe place to sleep would come from. Now all she needs is a family who will love her as fiercely as she'll love them.
