Gunner from TEXAS

Gunner is a goofy, happy 3-year-old male black-and-tan hound mix who weighs about 50 pounds. Rescued from a rural small-town dog pound, he is affectionate, playful, and loves human attention, toys, treats, and playing with other dogs.

Gunner enjoys relaxing indoors in the air conditioning, rides well in a vehicle, walks on leash, sits for treats, and is comfortable with baths. As a typical hound, he may bark at squirrels, people, dogs, and cats he sees, and he enjoys exploring counters and cabinets if they are not secured.

Ideal Home

Gunner would enjoy a home that appreciates his affectionate, playful hound personality and can help manage his enthusiasm around neighborhood sights and sounds. He enjoys playing with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Gunner is neutered, tattooed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated for DAPPvL2, Bordetella, and rabies. He has been treated for heartworms, is now heartworm-negative, and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
