Meet Bella, the Girl Who Never Stopped Hoping! This beautiful 1-year-old German Shepherd, weighing about 55lbs, was found tied to a post with a heartbreaking note. Despite her rough start, Bella has blossomed into a bright, affectionate, and spirited girl who is ready for a family to cherish her forever. She's fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention, making her healthy and ready for her new life.
Ideal Home
Bella is looking for an active home where she can receive continued training and daily exercise. She'll thrive with someone who appreciates a smart, goofy, and affectionate Shepherd. Due to her tendency to want to chase cats, she'll need to be kept separate from them and would do best in a home without them.
Ongoing Health
Bella is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. She is in good health.
Training & Support
Bella is a quick learner and eager to please. She walks nicely on a harness, knows "sit" and "stay," and is working on not jumping – she just gets excited! She is fully housetrained and loves her crate, where she happily stores her treats and toys. Her favorite game involves a frozen peanut butter Kong, which she proudly takes to her crate. When bored, she may chew on things, so she'll benefit from plenty of toys, structure, and activity to keep her occupied.

Transporation
Bella is an "out of town pet" and is not at this location. Our rescue is based in Houston, and all our fosters and the Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston. We arrange transport to bring dogs to you. Once approved, dogs are scheduled for transport via air-conditioned/heated vans from our ranch in Fulshear, TX, to a location near you. You'll be included in a group chat for real-time updates on her location and estimated arrival time. Drivers will provide updates during transport, and dogs will have breaks for walks and food. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
