Bofur

Bofur is a charming and petite pup, part of our "Lord of the Rings" litter! At about 17 weeks old and weighing around 14 lbs, Bofur is expected to reach a full-grown size of 30-35 lbs. She's a bit shy initially but blossoms into a sweet and affectionate companion, complete with that delightful puppy sass. Bofur enjoys her quiet time, often found stashing treasures under her training cot, but she's always ready to join the fun when it strikes!

Ideal Home

Bofur would thrive in a home where she can continue to build her confidence. Given her initial shyness, a patient and understanding adopter will be key to helping her flourish.

Ongoing Health

Bofur is up-to-date on her vaccines (distemper/parvo, bordatella, and Rabies), dewormer, and preventatives. She will be spayed/neutered at one of our partner clinics around six months old.

Training & Support

Being very food-motivated, Bofur should be a joy to train! As with any young pup, expect to work on potty training, crate training, leash manners, and basic obedience. Her cautiousness around new dogs means continued positive introductions will be beneficial. While she barks at the resident cat, it seems to be a bit of a game, but a home without a taunting cat might be best. We have not observed her with children.
