Meet Boots! This handsome young Shepherd/Collie mix is a survivor, having been rescued from a crowded Texas shelter. Now safe in our care, Boots is ready to find the loving family he truly deserves.

At just over a year old and around 50 pounds, Boots is a wonderful blend of playful energy, affection, and a strong desire to please. He's a social butterfly who clearly loves people, often leaning in for pets, offering a friendly play bow, or gently pawing for attention. He's already mastered "sit," appears to be house-trained, and has a gentle mouth when taking treats. Boots also loves the company of other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion to share his days with. Despite his past uncertainties, Boots greets the world with a wagging tail and a hopeful spirit, making him a truly special boy.
