Tori is a 9-year-old, 50 lb German Shepherd mix with a low-medium energy level. She's a smart and funny girl who loves walks, her stuffed bear, and keeping an eye on the neighborhood. Tori is affectionate and sweet, but prefers affection on her own terms and dislikes rough-housing and being rushed by strangers. She can be a bit shy at first but opens up to become a delightful companion. Tori is also incredibly intelligent, picking up commands and new words just by listening, and has even taught herself to understand "cross" to navigate walks more smoothly.
Ideal Home
Tori needs a home where she receives daily exercise and playtime. She thrives with an adopter who respects her boundaries and gives her affection when she's ready for it. Tori does not get along with other dogs and cannot live in a home with them. She also cannot live with cats or children and is not suited for apartment living. A physical fence is preferred, but not strictly required if she receives regular walks and exercise.
Ongoing Health
Tori has a liver condition and will require lifelong medication. Her condition is well-managed, and she currently tests well. Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, and flea and heartworm treatment.
Training & Support
Tori is house-trained and crate-trained, with perfect manners and no destructive chewing or accidents. She is eager to learn new tricks and commands.
