Brenda

Brenda is a wonderfully calm, affectionate, and easy-going girl who is thriving in her foster home. She loves to rest her head on your lap, will happily roll over for belly rubs, and can entertain herself with a toy when you need some space. Brenda has become a favorite among shelter volunteers, and it's easy to see why she's so loved!

Ideal Home

Brenda is flexible and low-maintenance, making her a great fit for many households. She has been living happily with a 13-pound poodle, and they have become good companions, so she would likely do well with another dog friend after slow introductions. However, she's also perfectly content to soak up all the attention herself, so a home without other pets would also be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Brenda is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Brenda has made her crate her personal sanctuary and sleeps through the night without a fuss. She is also potty trained and has settled into a nice daily routine. On walks, Brenda is a gentle companion with no reactivity towards other dogs. She knows several commands, including sit, down, paw, and leave it, and she's a quick learner when treats are involved! Brenda is also a trooper with car rides and bath time, and she remains cool as a cucumber even during thunderstorms. When the mood strikes, she enjoys a game of fetch and has a genuine enthusiasm for her toys, but she's also happy to just be near you.
