Meet Mysma! This absolute doll baby of a dog has quickly won over her foster family and everyone she meets with her sweet and gentle personality. She's learning how wonderful it is to simply be someone's beloved companion and part of a family. Mysma is a loving, gentle soul who has transitioned from being a devoted mama to wanting to be a pampered, cherished family dog. With patience, reassurance, and plenty of cuddles, she will blossom into an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion. Whoever adopts her is getting a truly special girl.
Ideal Home
Mysma would thrive in a home with at least one other dog to show her the ropes. She enjoys supervised play with squeaky toys and chewing on Benebones. She shows a playful side once she settles in. Mysma might not be ideal for apartment living due to a tendency to pace and show some separation anxiety, though she usually settles with crating. If there are multiple dogs in the home, she will need to be fed separately as she is very food motivated and not aggressive.
Ongoing Health
Mysma was treated for heartworms on 4/29 and 4/30. She may test positive for heartworms for up to a year after treatment.
Training & Support
Mysma is comfortable with a crate routine and has been good at keeping it clean. She is strong on leash and tends to pull, so a harness, training, and continued practice will help. She is very food motivated but not aggressive. She will follow her nose to snacks and will clean anything off the ground she thinks is a possible snack.
