Meet Bessie!
Bessie is a 5.5-month-old sweetheart who’s ready to find a loving home of her own. She has so much love to give and absolutely adores being showered with attention in return. If you're looking for a loyal little companion who will happily follow you from room to room, Bessie might just be your perfect match! She’s already off to a great start with her training and is currently learning basic commands like sit, lay down, and come. Bessie is also doing wonderfully with her crate training and sleeps through the night like a champ. With her affectionate personality and eagerness to learn, Bessie will make a wonderful addition to a family ready to continue helping her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Please remember that all listed breeds are only our best guess based on appearance, traits, and behavior. Unless a dog has confirmed pedigree or DNA testing, we cannot guarantee breed makeup.

Ongoing Health
The minimum adoption donation includes spay/neuter surgery (or a spay/neuter agreement if too young), vaccinations appropriate for her age, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, and heartworm prevention (if old enough). She will also receive a martingale safety collar.
Training & Support
Bessie is currently learning basic commands like sit, lay down, and come, and is doing well with crate training. Housebreaking and potty training cannot be guaranteed, and we recommend establishing a consistent potty training routine to help her adjust to a new home.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $650.
- Dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement.
- For dogs 1 year and up, the minimum donation is $550.
- For dogs 7 years and up, the minimum donation is $450.
- Once your application is submitted, our adoption coordinator will contact you to complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic).
- Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.
- Payment methods accepted are cash, credit, debit, PayPal, Venmo, and bank checks. No personal checks.
Transporation
Bessie is available in NY through the Go North Program. Transport from Bonifay and Panama City, FL to our adoption center in Argyle, NY is included in the adoption donation.
