ELMIRA

Elmira is a 3-year-old, 55-lb Dutch Shepherd mix with the sweetest, gentlest soul. She was found as a stray, abandoned and left to survive on her own. Kind neighbors fed her, but no one was able to give her the forever home she deserved. Since July 20, 2023, Elmira has been waiting for a home, but has had zero inquiries. Despite everything she’s been through, Elmira remains incredibly loving and gentle. She has been tested with multiple dogs and does well with them—she just wants companionship, safety, and someone to love her. Elmira deserves so much more than a kennel; she deserves a warm bed, a caring family, and a place to finally call home.

Ideal Home

Elmira would thrive in a home where she can receive companionship, safety, and love. Her behavior towards children and cats is unknown, as dogs are not tested with them.

Elmira is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, including rabies.
