About Willow

Meet Willow!

Willow is a 4-year-old, 65 lb bundle of calm, sweet, and low-energy affection. She was rescued from an overcrowded municipal shelter where she was initially too scared to engage. A volunteer saw her potential and offered to foster her, giving her the safe space she needed to start blooming. Willow is still learning that the world is a safe place and can be a little nervous around passing cars, but with each day, she gains more confidence. She enjoys quiet companionship and walks beautifully on leash. While she doesn't mind other dogs, she prefers a peaceful environment and her own space. Once she feels comfortable, Willow's affection is truly heart-melting. She'll wag her tail, seek out pets, and offer belly rubs in return for your love. She'll quietly stay near you, a gentle presence that brings peace to any home. Willow is potty-trained, sleeps soundly in her crate, and enjoys chewing on bones and puzzle toys. She is smart, easygoing, and incredibly tender-hearted. She had a tough start, but with patience and consistency, she continues to blossom. Willow has just finished heartworm treatment and is ready to find her forever person or people. She's looking for a patient and loving adopter who understands that some dogs need time to feel safe, but once she trusts you, she'll give you her whole heart.
