Rusty is a 4-year-old, 55-pound Retriever/Lab mix with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. He was at risk in a high-intake shelter, but thankfully, our rescue stepped in to give him the second chance he truly deserves. Now thriving in his foster home, Rusty has shown himself to be an amazing, calm, and affectionate companion. He loves to snuggle on the couch with his foster family, which includes two other dogs and three teenage boys. Rusty gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys playtime, but he's equally happy just relaxing by your side. He's friendly, gentle, and an all-around wonderful boy who enjoys attention and sits still while being brushed. Rusty is house-trained, crate-trained, and even enjoys lounging in his crate with the door open. He's neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. Before joining his forever family, he will receive a final veterinary health inspection. If you're looking for a loyal, easygoing companion, Rusty may be the perfect addition to your family.
