Corky

Corky is a 4-year-old neutered male pittie with a name that perfectly suits his charming corkscrew tail! He and his sister were abandoned in Texas in June 2022 and were adopted by a young couple who adored them. Unfortunately, the couple divorced, and neither could afford to keep both pups. Corky eventually returned to foster care. He was initially his "daddy's boy" but has since blossomed into a total love bug with his foster mom. Corky is a smart and fun-loving boy who enjoys walks with his harness. He has never shown aggression towards humans and is eager to please, especially when treats are involved.

Ideal Home

Corky would thrive in a home with a fenced yard. He needs to be the only dog in the household as he is very reactive to other animals. For his safety and comfort, a home without small children is also ideal.

Ongoing Health

Corky is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Corky is a smart boy and will work for treats, but he needs a dedicated owner who understands his animal reactivity. He loves walks but may not enjoy busy dog parks with other dogs.
