Butterscotch Sweet As Pie

Butterscotch is sweet as pie and a perfectly squatty, slightly chunky little potato with the most incredible wrinkles you've ever seen. She's about 3 years old, weighs around 55 lbs, and we believe she may be a Beagle/Lab mix. Butterscotch is a people girl through and through. She opens up quickly with new friends and absolutely loves being close to her humans. She has such a calm, comforting presence about her that it's easy to forget she's even there... until you look down and realize she's quietly been keeping you company the whole time. And when it comes to affection, this girl is all in. Belly rubs are her absolute favorite activity, booty scratches are a close second, and if you happen to have an empty lap, don't be surprised if she decides it's hers. While she's definitely a cuddle bug, she also enjoys getting outside and enjoying the fresh air. She isn't much of a toy dog, but hand her a good chew stick and she's perfectly content.

Ideal Home

Butterscotch would do well in either a house with a yard or an apartment, although she'd absolutely love having a backyard to explore since being outside is one of her favorite things. Cats are too exciting for her, so we'd recommend a cat-free home.

Ongoing Health

Butterscotch is a healthy 3-year-old.

Training & Support

Butterscotch may need a little time to fully decompress after going home. She took a couple of weeks before really settling into foster care, but once she did, she became the sweetest little shadow dog.
