Meet Boy!

Boy is a 6-year-old, 80-pound handsome pitty with a big noggin and an even bigger heart! This sweet soul came to us from Oklahoma after his person passed away, so he knows what it's like to be in a loving home and is hoping to find that again. He's an absolute love bug who makes fast friends with everyone he meets, including kids! As long as he gets to love on someone and receive love in return, he's one happy boy. He does enjoy a good zoomie session and occasionally sprints along the fence with other dogs, but he truly prefers a home without them.

Ideal Home

Boy would thrive in a home where he can be with his people as much as possible, as he does have separation anxiety. A house with a yard would be ideal, as apartments or townhomes are not the best fit due to his anxiety. He enjoys chewing on a bone, relaxing on a comfy bed, and people-watching out of windows.

Ongoing Health

Boy had been hit by a car many years ago, and he recently had knee surgery on his other leg. Because of this, his back legs bother him, making it difficult for him to be around other dogs. We are not sure how he is with cats, but we are happy to cat test him if a feline friend is part of your family.

Training & Support

Boy has separation anxiety and does not like being left alone. He is a good passenger on car rides and loves them!
